10 Day Challenges to Get Your Life Together

Being the busy Career Girl you are, it’s easy for life to get out of control.

Sometimes all you want is how to change your life positively. When work becomes your only lifestyle, you start to go through the motions, and before you know it, decades have passed, and you’ve done nothing for yourself. Believe me when I say that I know. Working toward your job is essential if you keep track of yourself.

Your professional life isn’t the only one you have. Sometimes you have to do something for yourself. If you’re having a hard time keeping it all together, take a deep breath and begin with some of these challenges:

Day One# Be thankful.

We can achieve so much in a single day, and our abilities are continuously improving! But we never realize it because we never look back. We may believe we are ten steps away from our goals when we are only two steps away in reality. Start by recording all of your mini-milestones in a journal. Our Getting Things Done planner is ideal for this.

Day Two# Become the best healthy version of yourself possible.

We all enjoy a cheat day but want it less when it becomes a cheat month. It’s time to get back on track with your life. Start with a new routine for a new girl aware of her wishes—workout not to lose weight but to release all of your day’s frustrations. Release the positive hormones that make you a more muscular woman this week.

Day Three# Prepare a hearty diet.

You may be addicted to doing so, but instead of eating a healthy meal only to fit into those jeans, eat a healthy meal you love (this will help you stay healthy in the future). It’s all about brain training; sticking to something you enjoy is much easier! Prepare a dish you’ve wanted to try for a long time. I always assemble my best lady pals to bring boy talk and excellent cuisine together when I cook!

Day Four# Get some beauty sleep.

There’s no need to check your emails one last time. For the next five minutes, no more Instagram scrolling. There will be no more ‘one more episode.’ Set aside some time to sleep. Yes, you must schedule that as well! Because it’s all too easy to forget that you need to rest, especially when driving at km/h all day. Allow yourself at least eight hours, and see how your week will be much better!

Day Five# Focus on you and only you.

You’ve been trying to work on something but have always put it off due to needing to be more relaxed. You never do it, but you always wish you would. Today, go ahead and do it. There will be no more excuses! Half of the time, you’re too afraid to go back in, but once you do, you’ll remember why you loved it in the first place.

Day Six# Do something nice for yourself.

It’s time to spoil yourself, whether via snack Netflix or buying that item you’ve had your eye on for a long time. I do this regularly because, as an adult, you need to reward yourself for your efforts. You receive gold stars when you’re a youngster; you can choose when you’re an adult!

Day Seven# For enjoyment, read a book.

I am trying to remember the last time I did this, and I enjoy reading, but sometimes life gets in the way, and you forget about your other interests (outside of work). There’s nothing like taking the time to engage yourself in another universe. Reawaken your romance or find a new one!

Day 8# Take care of yourself.

Every girl has to do it, and I’m guilty of it regularly. It’s also a reason for me to step up my skincare routine! Turn into Mask and Netflix with one of your best female friends! Change your products and put your best foot forward.

Day Nine# Go for a walk.

Gather your thoughts and go for a long walk; there’s nothing like a walk to clear your mind. It will boost your mood and improve your happy hormones. You’ll also be getting out of the house, which will make you feel better!

Day Ten# Try something new.

Get out of your comfort zone and try something you’ve never imagined doing. I’m not saying you jump off a plane, but try something new and see what happens. You may find something you enjoy!
